The Important Stuff
I love listening to and performing music. For over twenty years now I’ve been singing in bars and at events in Ireland and around Europe, something I still do as much as possible. I’m rarely happier than when I’m singing songs I love to people that want to hear them.
Through my professional experience I’ve developed a real interest in finding the most effective and efficient ways to exchange ideas and information. Most of my career has been spent working for international membership-based associations, so I’ve had lots of opportunities to find the best ways to connect people with information and vice-versa and to engage communities. I have always believed that honest and open communication is the basis of all successful relationships, whether professional, social or personal.
I also love to read, to meet and talk with interesting and inspiring people, to travel, and to live this one short life that we’ve been given to the full. I do what I can to live in a sustainable way and hope, by example, to inspire others to do likewise.
